Our client near Ely has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Chef with a creative flair to assist the chef manager in the delivery of a high-quality catering service that meets the high expectations and varied dietary requirements of their clients. This is a part time role offering 20 - 25 hours per week with the possibility of more hours being available according to the business needs.
As the Assistant Chef you will:
?? Assist with the planning and preparing of nutritional menus and meals including special diets and preferences
?? Ensuring that exceptional food hygiene and safety standards are met
?? Ensuring that the kitchen is cleaned to a high standard
?? Assist with the supervision of staff
As the Assistant Chef you will have:
?? Previous experience of working in a hospitality environment
?? Experience in staff management
?? Practical experience in operating catering equipment
?? Preferably a level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality or a qualification at an equivalent level
As the Assistant Chef you will have the following skills:
?? Good communication skills
?? Good interpersonal and customer care skills
?? PC literacy
As the Assistant Chef you will be offered the following benefits:
