Food and Beverage Manager/General Manager/Front of House Manager/GBP24k to GBP26k pa/Village nr Corby/Permanent
Our client, is a charming and attractive Country Inn based in the idyllic Rutland Countryside. Privately owned for over 22 years, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic, "hands on" Food and Beverage Manager/General Manager/Front of House Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The venue offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere and provides high quality dining, events and accommodation.
??Title: General Manager
??Salary: GBP24,000 to GBP26,000pa
??Benefits: 28 days holiday, Tips, Christmas Day closure, pensions, free meals, free car parking
??Duration: Permanent
??Location: Village nr Corby
??Hours: 40hrs per week 5 shift out of 7, two days off together. Split shifts 10.30am till 3pm 6pm till 10pm/11pm. straight shift on Saturday 3pm till 10pm/11pm
Assisting the Owner with managing a small front of house and kitchen team. This is a varied role which requires the successful candidate to have responsibility for the smooth running of the restaurant, bar and function areas delivering an excellent service to each guest. You will be a highly skilled manager, able to lead a team and achieve great results in a busy environment.
Duties will include but will not be limited to:
??Managing and motivating team, ensuring a high standard of performance in relation to customer satisfaction
??Hands on approach serving, taking orders, clearing down
??Meeting and greeting all customers
??Ensuring food hygiene regulations are maintained to the highest standards
??Some administration duties, including stock taking, cashing up and assisting owners with staff rota's
You will be a good people person, with the capability of organising all operational aspects. You will be approachable with excellent customer service and communication skills. Excellent planning, organisation and problem solving skills are essential.
Previous experience within a similar position is essential, preferably within a Restaurant or similar Hospitality environment is essential.
