Junior Application Analyst

Our client administers the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (PCSPS) and provides pensions to over 1.5 million people. They have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the administration of Defined Benefit pension schemes and provide tailored services to more than 300 Government employers.

Joining them as Junior Application Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering second line systems support and troubleshooting.

Adhering to Service Desk policies and procedures, you will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for service whilst effectively managing the incident queue, ensuring SLA’s are maintained. You will design, develop and maintain a wide range of system generated documents such as; letters, forms and statements and carry out unit testing of own development prior to the formal test cycle.

So, if you are educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or above and are IT literate with proficiency in the use of MS Office applications, then we want to hear from you.

Those who hold ITIL v3 at Foundation level are highly desirable, as are those who have basic knowledge of SQL.
