Job Title Legal Secretary - Residential Conveyancing

Location Loughborough

Salary Between GBP17,000 and GBP18,000 per annum

The Role

We are working on behalf of a Solicitor's firm in Loughborough, who is looking for a Legal Secretary, to join their Residential Conveyancing department.

In this role, you will be working as part of a team and provide secretarial and administrative support to help the legal teams deliver great service to their clients.

Involved in all aspects of audio typing and digital dictation;

Preparing official correspondence and legal documents;

Diary management, including arranging meetings and appointments;

Use a case management system to process and progress files;

Daily filing, opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files;

Providing general assistance to members of fee earning staff and other support staff.

The Candidate

You will have minimum 6 months' previous experience within a legal support position, as well as have the following:

Fast typing skills with excellent grammar

Proven experience with digital dictation

Proven administrative and organisational skills

Excellent attention to detail and very good communication skills.

Process driven, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Professional manner and the ability to complete work to a high standard
