We are actively looking for a Transactional Services Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated and passionate about the work they do. Your main responsibilities are highlighted below.
* General management of team of 6 people; purchase ledger, sales ledger, sub-contractors and accounts.
* Planning staff holidays/cover
* Identifying/assisting with staff training needs/problem solving
* Carrying out staff Appraisals and developing team
* Liaising/maintaining relationships with wider ops teams to ensure mutual support is maintained
* Responsibility for producing and maintaining Balance Sheet recs
* Management of Prepayments & Accruals and month end journals
* Managing implementation of new processes
* Liaising with business analysists to ensure continual improvements
* Producing monthly Management accounts
* Annual P11Ds
* Weekly Cash flow, bank reconciliations, payments
* Assist with VAT returns
* Month end accounts; Prepayments, Fixed Assets, journals, job costing review
* Submission of figures to Corporate division for consolidation with Group
* Audit preparation and participation
* Liaising closely with Tax & Payroll departments to ensure we are complying with requirements
