First Line Manager, Grimsby - Up to GBP35,000
IMMEDIATE START - FIRST LINE MANAGER - Chase and Holland are recruiting for a Logistics Operations First Line Manager required to work within a successful FMCG business based in a Grimsby area of North East Lincolnshire. This exciting role is playing a key part of supply chain operations from a logistics point of view.
Key duties of his role will include:
* Effectively managing the site services teams to drive efficiency
* Actively participating in managing production and warehouse operations to ensure that agreed client service levels are met
* Liaising with the operations and supply chain management to ensure smooth site operations
* Building and maintaining good relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
* Supporting all department managers within the supply chain function
* Working closely with the Site Director to identify and implement operational improvements
* Taking appropriate action to maximise customer service in line with agreed targets
* Informing and taking lead on logistics operations relating to the site
The successful candidate will have a Supply Chain and Logistics background and be commercially aware. You will have strong attention to detail, strong customer service and communication skills. You will have a problem-solving approach to work and be comfortable interacting with various internal and external stakeholders.
