A small firm is currently expanding and is seeking a Criminal Defence Solicitor who has recently qualified, the firm is happy to put suitable candidates through their police station accreditation and / or their duty solicitor course.

They are a niche firm specialising in the defence of serious crime. The firm are regularly instructed to represent and defend in extremely serious cases, involving some of the most notorious crimes prosecuted in recent times and quite often cases attracting national notoriety.

The Role:
The successful Criminal Defence Solicitor shall be able to manage a varied caseload, be proactive and committed to gaining their duty status. The role shall involve police station attendances as well as attending Court to undertake advocacy (once qualified) and meticulous case preparation.
Requirements:
The suitable Criminal Defence Solicitor must have worked within a similar role ideally NQ or 1 PQE as well as be able to fee-earn, the firm requires you to progress through training and provides all the support necessary to do so.
