You’ll be joining an established high performing Community Safety Team to work on actions to reduce crime and disorder across MSV communities. You’ll work collaborative across MSV championing Community Safety, taking ownership of  your own caseload and taking a holistic approach to Anti – Social Behaviour, developing preventative measures within our communities. 

But you won’t be sat in an office, hiding behind your laptop!  This is a hands on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to its customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key. 

As this is a trainee role MSV will support you to undertake relevant training and provide you with a mentor through other officers and you line manager to allow you to develop valuable skills and knowledge in community safety. 

Suitably experienced, flexible and adaptable with pro – active approach to problem solving, you’ll be highly motivated, innovative and driven to promote healthy and safe communities to our customers. You’ll also be team focused with the ability to communicate with colleagues, customers, partners and external agencies in line with our high performance culture and the ‘MSV Way’.  

You’ll be based at our head office in Stretford, Manchester as well as being present in our communities. MSV operate core hours for our customers however, our agile style of working and flexible working hours mean that if you need to collect the kids from school, no problem. Want to work late finishing a piece of work and take the time back the next day, go ahead. We know that a committed and dedicated member of the MSV team doesn’t clock watch. This is a fixed term post for an initial period of up to 12 months and will be working within our communities across North West. Given the geographical spread of our stock, we require the successful candidate to hold a valid Driving Licence and have access to a car.
