Do you have what it takes to create a fun, lively and welcoming venue for our students? Keele University are looking to recruit a Catering & Retail Supervisor to join the team at Lindsay Café Bar. Set within the former Sneyd family estate the university’s beautiful grounds create a great working environment with a real sense of community.

Lindsay Café Bar serves a wide range of food and drinks as well as operating a small retail outlet for the students living in Lindsay Halls of residence. As well as having a passion for customer service the ideal applicant will have supervisory experience in a busy pub or bar environment and previous involvement with training and developing a team. Being responsible for the day to day operation of the bar and retail outlet the role will be very hands-on with duties including; cash handing, ordering and receipting stock, managing staff rotas, organising and running events.

A good standard of numeracy and literacy are essential as well as a basic food hygiene certificate and licensing qualification.  You will also have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to problem solve.
