About the Role:
An opportunity has become available to join our Asset Management team as a Repairs Manager. This role is to act as part of the Asset Management Team with the collective responsibility for the delivery of a quality, cost effective and safe Asset Management service for our customers. 
 
You will be responsible for providing a cost effective Regional Responsive, Planned and Cyclical repairs service. 
 
Working closely with the compliance team you will ensure that the service and Group remains compliant at all times.
 
In addition, you will monitor local budgets, ensuring that tenders and quotations for repairs works are obtained in accordance with standing orders and financial regulations and that all expenditure is contained within agreed local budgets.
 
You will ensure excellent service is delivered and that it provides the Group with value, meeting both residents’ reasonable expectations and statutory and regulatory requirements.
 
We want somebody who has:
 

  • HNC/HND Building Studies or equivalent experience
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Proven experience of managing and delivering within a Repairs and Maintenance background
  • Evidence of having delivered effectively in a results/service driven environment
  • Strong financial management experience including managing of budgets
  • Knowledge of construction, maintenance or facilities
  • Performance management and project management skills
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety & Building Regulations
