An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the South West's leading employers as an Electrical / ICA Technician for our team based in Plympton, Plymouth.
[b]The Role[/b]
South West Water requires an experienced Electrical / ICA Technician of either Technician or Engineer grade for the support of planned maintenance activities throughout the Devon region.
You will be an integral part of a dedicated team of multi skilled Technicians delivering PPM activities on South West Water assets primarily in the Plymouth and Totnes area, but you could be utilised to support the peripheral PPM delivery team in Exeter and North Devon as required.
You will need a 17th / 18th Edition Electrical regulations or pre IEE qualification and ideally test and inspect qualification enabling you to assist in the installation, repair and planned maintenance activities including optimisation of the operational plant, process power and control systems.
[b]The Ideal Electrical / ICA Technician:[/b]
*Experience of working within an industrial or commercial environment*Experience with VSDs, soft starts and motor control systems.*17th / 18th Edition Compliant or current IEE Regulations*Time served apprenticeship supported by relevant formal qualifications. e.g. City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC / HNC / HND*A flexible approach to working hours*A flexible approach to travel in support of PPM Team
