Account Coordinator - Junior Account Manager

Up to GBP30k (OTE circa GBP43k) plus up to 10% company bonus, full benefits

This role is critical to the continued success and expansion of NTT Europe's business and the ISP CMP Sales Team. You will be responsible for the Account ownership and operations of a number of Development and Maintenance (run rate) Accounts and the performance achievement of those accounts in terms of Revenue retention, profitability management and growth. You will also be expected to leverage and maximise existing contact base to generate new business opportunities in these accounts. This is to be achieved through structured account planning, embedding broad, trusted relationship management, acting as an escalation point for operational service delivery requirements and overall customer satisfaction.

As a key member of the account management team you will Champion' the delivery teams understanding of the client's solution requirements, systematic process implementation and initiate improvement programmes where appropriate.

Driving the awareness and leveraging internal expertise to develop cross skilling opportunities to support all Business Unit services across every account is key to the success of the role and to enable unified sales of multiple product solutions as well as individual selective outsourcing services against NTT Group service lines.

A core focus of existing customer satisfaction improvement, retention, P&L management and profitability improvement is required as well as aggregated revenue growth to ensure sustainable revenues against the Team and wider business targets. To achieve this, a key element is ensuring stabilisation where necessary of the business units top tier customers together with development of 'trusted advisor' relationships within the assigned customers is essential.

It is expected that you will work closely with the Sales Manager, Business Unit Heads and regional management, to develop strategic partnerships and customer wins. Work with peers and helping create unified team spirit will be critical to the team success. Furthermore it is expected that this individual will be successful in navigating the wider NTT Group companies to create stronger joint go to market offerings for the assigned customer base.

You may be required to undertake frequent national and occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive account revenue growth and increased profitability into target accounts.
  • Account planning and implementation of delivery programmes as necessary
  • Account relationship management across multi-tiers within the client account
  • Ensure timely billing and revenue collection in consultation with the finance and billing teams.
  • Focus on Customer satisfaction measurement and improvement.
  • Coordination and liaison with delivery teams.
  • Assimilate existing and new business services, solutions and products, including those of Group companies
  • Identifying client business needs with a view to help shape solution development by the Product Management teams.
  • Where applicable operate with the Global Account Management and National Account Management structures to interoperate with NTT's global companies.
  • Reporting in line with company standards eg Salesforce and other required mechanisms

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

Compulsory

Experience operating in Account Management in solutions sales including the following:-

  • Personal Account Management achievement
  • Team building across multiple business functions
  • Contract and business negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Native/fluent level or equivalent English language
  • Ability to communicate, with credibility, to a senior management C level audience eg CIO, CTO
  • Good commercial skills - the ability to get business closed, profitably
  • Experience in managing the end to end contracting process
  • Strong administration skills

Preferred

  • ICT Outsourcing, Managed Services, Network Service, Collocation and or Systems Integration Services.
  • Solution selling expertise.
  • Professional sales and marketing training - relevant to services/solutions selling
  • Face to face meeting experience
