Weaver Vale Housing Trust has a fantastic opportunity for an Asset Management Officer within the Property directorate to help support our Asset Management requirements, based in Gadbrook, Northwich. You will work on a full time, permanent basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary of GBP21,105 to GBP23,260 per annum.
The Asset Management Officer role:
As a member of the Assets Team, working for the Assets Senior Surveyor, you will support improvement work programme delivery, solar PV activity, decent homes and energy performance, as well as liaising with customers and other stakeholders. Crucially, you'll be responsible for ensuring robust and accurate processes are in place across all the appropriate works streams and that systems are kept updated at all times.
The role will also play an important part in helping deliver a current corporate project aimed at enhancing our pro-active approach to Asset Management.
Key responsibilities of our Asset Management Officer:
- Pro-actively support the Asset Senior Surveyor in ensuring Asset, Housing Management and other core systems are kept up to date, such as the Aareon QL Housing Management system and the Civica Keystone Asset Management system
- Robustly monitor and provide daily, weekly, monthly report updates regarding Solar PV generation for operational and senior management and maintain effective processes and procedures
- Ensure that Solar PV generation is maximised and effectively plan and ensure completion of follow up works within agreed timescales with relevant contractors
- Monitor and report daily, weekly, monthly updates regarding Decent Homes performance
- Monitor and report daily, weekly, monthly updates regarding Energy Efficiency performance. Maintain and update the Asbestos register and identify and action and necessary follow on works including workflows, within agreed
timescales
- Ensure all systems are updated including housing management solutions, DRS, QL, First Touch and Keystone
- Support the Asset Senior Surveyor with the organisation and administration of internal and external Stock Condition Audits
- Proactively liaise with internal and external surveying resources to assist in arrangements for Stock Condition
- Support the Asset Senior Surveyor with the organisation and administration of Energy Certificates, liaising directly with internal and external resource to ensure systems are kept up to date and accurate
- Ensure robust processes exist that inform customers of when Asset related works are due to start and also capturing completed works feedback
- Provide support to the wider Asset Team as required to support the delivery of key services
- Deliver all work in line with the Trusts GDPR, H&S, Financial and People policies and procedures
What we're looking for in our Asset Management Officer:
- Educated to GCSE level A-C including Maths and English or equivalent
- Experience of producing reports from Housing Management systems such as QL
- Ability to review, monitor and analyse information and data, identifying anomalies and highlighting any actions
- Interaction with customers and contractors both verbally and in writing
