The Role•To create 100% customer satisfaction by preparing quality food products and commitment to training and professional growth within the company The Requirements•Must be able to perform all tasks required of a Night Chef•Can take responsibilities for any section of the kitchen and meet standards in health and hygiene, staffing and organizational planning, recipe standards, promotion of learning environment, and food quality and preparation.•Participates in the development of recipes•Food & beverage product knowledge, and an understanding of menu content and impact, and pricing guidelines•Good command of the English language•Knowledge of Radisson Blu Edwardian systems and procedures•Has the ability to communicate and establish rapport•Holds Food and Hygiene certificate•Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the company experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations•Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service•Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems•Provides "Yes I Can" genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis•Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction•Ensures the highest quality of product within cost constraints by managing and overseeing food preparation•Follows proper staffing guidelines•Stores unused food properly to minimize waste and maximize quality•Assures proper sanitation practices are followed•Provides employees with the information needed to perform their job effectively•Orients employees to the department and hotel and provides on-the-job training on job responsibilities•Keeps current with local competition•Takes appropriate action to maintain the competitive status and profitability of the operation•Provides employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities•Communicates performance expectations and provides employees with on-going feedback•Provides employees with coaching and counseling as needed to achieve performance objectives and reach their fullest potential•Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
