Are you a Facilities Manager looking to make a move? This company are currently in Amersham but moving to Windsor in early 2020

Are you happy working for a family property company and able to drive to various properties monthly?

This company is looking for someone with lease management and service charge accounting background if possible.

* Full Time from early September 2019 - interviews 3rd and 4th September

* Currently based in Amersham, but the intention is to relocate the office to Windsor in 2020

* Mostly office based with site inspections and meetings at properties in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey. Occasional visit (once every 1-2 months) to Bristol.

* Business Mileage - expensed at 45p per mile, parking paid for (where not available onsite), insurance for business use required - you will be reimbursed the cost difference of the upgrade from regular to business use

* Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm

Duties & Responsibilities

* Property Management System-to be updated and maintained. Training will be provided.

* Properties encompass residential, office, retail & industrial

* Engage with suppliers and assist in negotiating best terms available

* To arrange all statutory inspections, preventive maintenance service, repairs, improvement works and checks on building

* Assist with management of all contracts related to services

* Undertake ad-hoc project work as required and willingness to be flexible

* Assist Property Manager with dealing with reactive maintenance

* Handling keys, electronic fobs and managing parking arrangements

Skills required:

* Previous experience of using a property management system for preventative and reactive maintenance.

* Experience of data entry in setting up such a system would be beneficial.

* Ability to research and find suitable suppliers, equipment etc.

* Ability to negotiate

* Able to work pro-actively and autonomously, showing initiative

* Strong organisational skills with the persistence to see tasks through to completion

* Able to prioritise and manage a number of tasks concurrently

* Facilities Management knowledge / experience in a similar environment.
