Fundraising and Income Processing Administrator

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 22.5 - 30 hrs a week (flexible working considered)

Salary: £19,261 - £20,422 pro rata

 

Our client is an award-winning Hospice offering a diverse range of services to patients, families and carers across South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds.

This role will be responsible for the receipt and recording of fundraising income, dealing with fundraising enquiries, and the despatch of supporter communications. The post holder will require strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and complete tasks to agreed deadlines.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following criteria:

Qualifications

  • GCSE – 5 passes which must include English and Maths or equivalent
  • Business or Administrative qualification or evidence equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of two years’ previous work experience in an administrative post
  • A good understanding of the laws associated to Fundraising and Finance
  • Using own initiative to make occasional significant decisions
  • Excellent communication skills – must be able to relate to a diverse range of people at all levels
  • Strong time management and highly developed organisational skills; ability to plan, prioritise and complete tasks to agreed deadlines
  • Literacy skills – strong verbal and written skills; with adaptable style and approach to suit a variety of audiences
  • Well-developed numeracy skills at a level that would enable the post holder to reconcile income and supporter information, and process complex financial information i.e. budgets for expenditure, income, and profit margin.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills
