We're looking for an experienced and confident HR Advisor to join our team based in the Liverpool Echo offices. We're seeking someone who is passionate about advising and guiding managers and staff, building working relationships and who can handle the most sensitive of situations with professionalism, empathy and decisiveness.

- Support the business in all matters relating to the implementation of policies and procedures, which will best support our staff and the core business needs.
- Development of all people managers via coaching and feedback during people matters.
- Pro active assessment and escalation of people matters throughout the business.
- Effective communication with wider HR colleagues to ensure the best solution for all people matters.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an experienced advisor who can slot seamlessly into our team, bringing strong communication skills, adaptability and a winning personality with them. You'll be managing a variety of caseloads on a daily basis, so you'll need a calm and professional air about you, as well as experience juggling lots of different cases and multitasking.
With a 5000 strong workforce based over 70 sites across the UK and Ireland, you'll need to be adept at influencing managers, building strong relationships and providing precise and comprehensive advice over the phone. You'll need a sound knowledge of employment law, and a desire to keep that knowledge up to date, as well as a flair for coaching people managers through specific delivery and solutions to people matters.
Experience of coordinating, coaching and risk-management of employee relations including probationary periods, absence, disciplinary and grievance investigations is essential, and union experience is desirable.
CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience is essential for this role, and we are looking for someone who is ready to grow into a well-rounded Advisor with a wealth of experience.
This is a full time permanent position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
