Mechanical Contracts Engineer - Eco Building services projects
This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative and continually expanding company, where you will be responsible for running a range of sustainable building services projects from order to completion and invoice.
Day to day duties:
* You will be responsible for creating both 2D working and manufacturing AutoCAD drawings using technical documentation, such as elevations and plans for clients.
* Interfacing directly with the main contractor/supplier to discuss site requirements/ on-site responsibilities.
* Reviewing project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements fabrication, assembly and installation.
* Converting quotation to order and highlighting programmes and lead times to contractor.
* managing the logistics of project completion within budget and timescales.
* Producing H&S documentation, such as risk assessments and discussing with the site engineers the method of installation and attendance.
* Arranging crane/scaffolding surveys and ensuring install dates with clients.
* Dealing with any after sales and warranty issues and arranging remedial works etc.
Office-based but occasional site visits are required for meetings.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical engineer with experience in running/managing projects within the HVAC/mechanical services-related construction environment with proficiency in AutoCAD and CRM packages.
Candidates qualified to Graduate/HNC level in construction management/ architectural/civil engineering etc, with clear potential will also be considered, looking for an exciting opportunity, or someone with experience in construction/mechanical services projects, looking to take their technical experience into much more of an in-house, customer supporting role.
Either way, you must be proficient in AutoCAD packages and CRM software (Customer Relationship Management), possess excellent communication, and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver a high level of customer service.
Current UK valid driving licence required.
Candidates should be living within an easy commute of High Wycombe.
In return, a salary of up to GBP30k is offered (Dep on relevant exp and skills) +benefits package including healthcare & regular training and career development
