Finance Analyst

The role will work closely with dedicated support teams globally as well as with the local FP&A and project finance teams to manage an affective monthly close process.

The business is global and multi-billion dollar conglomerate business based in the Warwickshire region who are a true market-leader in their field. The company has invested over GBP7 billion in the UK over the past 15 years and now have over 45 working facilities across the country.

They are looking for a qualified accountant to join their finance function based out of Rugby and the role provides fantastic commercial exposure.

Description

As part of their succession planning, the business is looking for Finance Analyst to manage the reporting process for different entities across the business on a global level.

Although you wont be directly involved in the statutory reporting process, you will be tasked with overseeing this to ensure that the process is completed in an efficient manner. You will therefore need to communicate effectively across finance and ensure that deadlines are met and that risk is is reduced.

Ensure the quality of accounts reconciliations and Balance Sheet analysis, to ensure the compliance and the integrity of the accounts.

Furthermore, you will also need to ensure the quality of accounts reconciliations and Balance Sheet analysis, to help support the integrity of the accounts. You will perform controllership responsibilities in order to help drive finance and operational teams in the United Kingdom.

Profile

In order to be considered for the role, you will need to be qualified to ensure a knowledge of IFRS reporting standards to help understand the accounts produced by ofshore teams.

Confident and direct in your communication strategy in order to ensure that controllership is completed effectively.

Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, identify risk and drive positive change.
