A motivated and inspiring ESOL Tutor is required to join a well established education team, based at a Prison in Cambridgeshire, on a permanent part-time basis starting ASAP.
The Prison is a Category C Adult Male Prison and successful applicants will be teaching ESOL from entry level to level 2 and this will be using the City & Guilds exam board, where class sizes will be no more than 10 learners. The chosen candidate will work 18.5 hours per week, on days to be confirmed depending on the availability.
To be considered, suitable applicants will need the following:
- Teaching qualification (Desirable)
- Subject specialism qualification in ESOL (e.g. CELTA, TESOL)
- Experience in teaching ESOL.
In return you will be offered a salary between GBP22,000 - GBP29,500 pro-rata, with 25 days of holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays. The working hours per week will be 18.5hpw, starting from 8am until 5pm Monday - Thursday and 8am until 12pm on Fridays.
