If so, St Giles Trust is looking for a Peer Hub Support Worker to join our Peer Hub team and play a central role in providing a high-level service to people with lived experience that will give them the skills needed to access employment successfully within their local communities and to achieve a NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance

About this pivotal role
As a key part of a community-based Peer Hub Team, your focus will be to provide Peer Advisors with the tools, guidance and support to access employment. This will involve supporting Peer Advisors once they have completed their training and with actively job seeking, and ensuring Peer Advisors develop the skills to support them in accessing employment.
You will also help to ensure the programme is delivered successfully, while also assisting the wider team in collating data and outcomes and helping to establish and maintain good relationships with partner organisations to aid the recruitment of new Peer Advisors and support the smooth running of the project.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of delivering employment-related workshops
- Knowledge of anti-discriminatory working practices, and the implications within the working environment
- Practical application of diversity awareness and unconscious bias in employment
- The ability to motivate and encourage individuals to make progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A professional, flexible and collaborative approach to your work
