Our Client, a national electrical wholesaler have a fantastic opportunity for an Industrial Sales Executive to ensure the achievement of sales and gross profit budget in order to deliver enhanced branch performance.
The Role:
* Implement the business plan for the appropriate territory, linked to local sales and margin requirements and convert this into a profitable business performance.
* Evaluate the added value service offering for all allocated accounts and devise a successful, practical implementation plan, specific to the territory, and ensure its achievement.
* Devise and implement a plan in order to provide account management for allocated and development (target) accounts.
* Monitor sales, profit and other agreed local and divisional KPI's for the territory and ensure appropriate steps are taken to rectify any shortfalls.
* Provide management with required reports, information and feedback, in agreed formats and within timeframes set.
* To maintain and develop a nominated number of key accounts to grow the accounts, to increase the revenue and profit margin, all to agreed targets and objectives.
The Person:
* Proven experience of winning new customers through identifying new prospects, initiating contact and then winning new business
* Strong existing customer relationships are essential for this role as we are looking for individuals who can bring market share
* Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in achieving sales and financial targets
* It would be beneficial to have experience of working within an industrial or electrical wholesale environment
* Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record and show the achievement of financial objectives and targets
* Well-developed negotiation skills, commercial acumen and awareness
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deliver professional presentations
* Ability to analyse own business and sales performance
* Full UK driving license
