Statutory Accounts & Tax Semi Senior - Quick progression to Manager

Are you an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior / Trainee Accountant with at least 2 to 3 years of practice experience, looking to work for a small, yet ambitious and rapidly expanding West End practice where you will have the opportunity to progress to manager grade in a very short space of time? Are you studying the ACCA and looking to convert to the ACA (or already studying the ACA and looking to continue?). Reporting directly to the business owner, your role will be varied and will include preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, corporation tax returns and there will be a large advisory element to your role as this firm likes to offer all its clients extra advice after they have carried out compliance work. You will be given your own portfolio of clients which you will manage and be responsible for. You will build and develop a strong relationship with all clients in your portfolio. You will work in a small and friendly team of 12 staff and very quick progression and increased responsibility will be offered.

To be considered for this new role you must have at least 2 to 3 years experience working in a general practice role in a small to medium sized practice. You must have experience of preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns, and it would be beneficial if you can also prepare management accounts. You must also be looking to continue with, or convert to the ACA. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including CCH for accounts production would be an advantage. A strong interest in working in the West End and working with creative clients is desirable. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
