Job Description
On behalf of a major Highways Maintenance contractor Vector Recruitment Solutions are looking for people who have experience and qualifications related to Highways Maintenance, in location Ivybridge, Devon.
All successful candidates will be drug and alcohol tested prior to starting.
This position is an ongoing contract, with the potential for permanent employment.
The Job
To undertake duties associated with the maintenance of public highways, including routine and cyclic maintenance activities, minor civils works and traffic management. The successful candidate will also need to be available to undertake winter and emergency maintenance out of hours activities on a standby rota basis throughout the year.
Requirements
* Driving Licence
* CSCS Card
Desirable
* 12D traffic management qualifications
* Streetworks
* Highways experience
* HGV
Hours of work - Monday to Friday
You will also be required to go on the on-call rota for emergency call outs and winter maintenance (gritting) duties.
