Role Purpose : To contribute significantly to ad-hoc market research projects for UK and international pharmaceutical companies, involving both qualitative and quantitative research techniques

Commercial acumen

• Develops relationships with clients and is considered a point of contact by clients for project requests/questions
• Supports Client/Research Managers/Directors in generating repeat business opportunities by delivering high quality research and project management
• Writes simple proposals and inputs in to more complex proposals
• Produces simple job costs with support from senior team members
• Is part of the account team for one of Kantar Health UK's key accounts, helping to contribute to sales targets
Delivering excellence

• Works autonomously in project managing qualitative and quantitative projects
• Builds an awareness of a range of methodologies and their applications
• Writes screeners and drafts questionnaire and discussion guides that meet client business issues and market research objectives with minimal input from senior colleagues
• Communicates confidently with clients regarding research materials
• Conducts depth interviews in front of clients at central locations
• Writes tab-specs and reviews the code frame based upon the questionnaire resulting in appropriate table output to fit the story / structure of the presentation
• Designs qualitative and quantitative presentations to the standard expected by the project manager
• Designs and implements 'beyond PowerPoint' final deliverables where appropriate
• Presents sections of client presentations, communicating clearly and in a structured way and contributes to client meetings
Internal management

• Has strong relationships with Operations and inputs to improving processes
• Follows the audit checklist and the Kantar Health quality standard framework on every project
• Communicates with other Kantar Health UK teams in a timely and professional manner
• Consistently meets deadlines required by both clients and other internal departments
• Takes a proactive role in supporting outputs of all internal initiatives designed to improve what we offer as a business
Developing self and others

• Prioritises workload with minimal input from Line Manager/Research Manager/Director to ensure agreed deadlines are met
• Delegates project based research tasks to colleagues
• Develops own knowledge and personal skills in line with business requirements
• Demonstrates maturity in the assessment of own learning and development needs

• Acts as a role model to junior colleagues by buddying and coaching within project teams as appropriate
