Experienced electronics technician/wireman required for the assembly of bespoke functional test equipment.
The role primarily involves the wiring of functional test fixtures and test systems using various methods (e.g. soldering, crimping, wire-wrapping) along with general light electro-mechanical assembly and cable making.
Experience in test system/fixture assembly or similar prototype wiring background would be advantageous
The ability to read and work alone from wiring schedules, schematics and technical drawings is essential.
Candidates from a non-test equipment background, but possessing demonstrable electronic wiring and electro-mechanical assembly skills, will be considered for this position.
Pay Rate (depending on experience): GBP21 - GBP28k basic salary (37.5 hour week) plus overtime as/when available. Applications from people above this salary bracket, who have considerable additional skills and qualifications, will be considered.
Contract (GBP18/hr) , Permanent (): GBP21 - GBP28k basic salary (37.5 hour week) plus overtime as/when available)
