Property Manager/Lettings - 6 month maternity cover

Newstaff Employment Services are looking for a Residential Property Manager with lettings experience for a private property company based in central Luton - 2 years experience is a must/ essential to apply for the role.

The role is paying up to 25k- dependent on experience and is for a 6 month maternity cover leave starting in Mid-September.

They self-manage all of their properties. Their portfolio covers predominantly Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire & Greater London and is a mix of properties from residential studios, flats, apartments & houses, office buildings, retail & industrial units.

They benefit from their own in house maintenance & letting teams & therefore are able to deal with any issues promptly & professionally.

The client will require the following:

Tenant liaison to include rent collection, rent arrears and general tenant queries. Control of new lettings to include, tenant move in etc.

Advertising and showing properties to include tenancy creation, references and setting up of tenancy deposits.

Working closely with their in-house Maintenance team to ensure property problems are dealt with effectively.

Dealing with service providers and council tax on all properties. Property inspections and dealing with the end of tenancy. General administration and secretarial back up for Director. Banking, mailing, stationery and all general office duties.

The majority of our properties are in Luton but they also have properties in Watford so a degree of travelling will be necessary; a current driving license is preferred and own vehicle.

A hard working but fun informal attitude is required and the successful candidate will be left to work independently and therefore must be able to be self-motivated, responsible and able to work on own initiative whilst fitting into a well-established existing team
