Assistant Registrar 12 month FTC
We have a rare opportunity for a well-organised and experienced education administrator to join this prestigious organisation based in the heart of Central Oxford as their Assistant Registrar. Joining them on a 12 month FTC to cover a period of maternity leave, your responsibilities will be wide ranging and support on all scholar programmes, graduate admissions and preparing ad-hoc reports for the Director. You will also be involved in a number of exciting projects in addition to your day to day responsibilities.
Assistant Registrar Responsibilities
As the Assistant Registrar some of your main duties will include:
- Building excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including scholars and university departments
- Preparing welcome packs and inductions for new scholars
- Organising and minuting meetings
- Collecting, analysing and reporting on surveys/trends
- Managing all internal records and ensuring the database is up to date
Assistant Registrar Experience
It is essential that the Assistant Registrar is well organised, able to work to tight deadlines and work well under pressure. You will have had previous experience working in an educational establishment, ideally having worked with graduates or admissions. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively is key in order to be successful in this role. Building strong working relationships will be vital as will having excellent attention to detail. You will be proactive in your approach and able to deal well with an ever-changing workload!
