Summary of Role

We have a vacancy for an experienced PMO Financial Analyst with a strong background in financial management to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Technology and Administration Solutions (TAS) Leadership Team, reporting into the Technology Operations Lead.

The Role

Budget & Finance - Technology Operations;

  • Drive and Facilitate monthly Technology Operations budget review meetings with Functional Leads
  • Maintain the FTE register with Functional Leads, including projections and variances. Ensure that it matches all budget figures
  • Manage work order process with 3rd party vendors, tracking actuals and forecast spend, maintaining a work order repository
  • Travel & Expenses tracking, ensuring all spend is submitted for approval and tracked
  • Anticipate changes, identify improvements to processes and continuously look to improve quality, administration and presentation of financial data
  • Provide the process and tools to support the annual budgeting process and any formal reforecast process. Communicate the process, deadlines and process and ensure that all central team deadlines are met
  • Manage the department budget collation, tracking and reporting processes
  • Provide high quality, timely, accurate financial materials at all times to all stakeholders
  • Be a subject matter expert for financial related items for team members including systems SME


Budget & Finance - Strategic Projects;

  • Manage the monthly forecasting process, collaborating with the Project Managers and Workstream Leads to produce accurate forecasts for all projects, highlighting any risks and/or opportunities to the Global Technology Operations Lead
  • Link in to capacity planning, identifying impact on budget of new initiatives or changes
  • Facilitate monthly budget meetings and reporting cycles with Project managers
  • Provide management summaries and exception reporting where approved budgets have been exceeded

  • Ongoing oversight and tracking of benefits realisation into BAU as a result of strategic Project delivery.
  • The Scrum Master creates and maintains an environment for continuous learning and relentless improvement.

The Requirements

The essential skills/experience for this position are:

  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Relevant work experience as a Finance PMO Lead or Senior Finance PMO Analyst
  • Domain knowledge in the area of financial accounting
  • Experience managing large budgets across multiple teams and locations
  • Ability to work closely with non-finance managers
  • Ability to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way
  • Highly collaborative and able to pull information from others with minimal impact / oversight
  • Comfortable owning discrete deliverables
  • Experience working with onshore and offshore teams
  • Very dynamic and able to work in a changing environment
  • Pensions experience desirable, but not essential
