CER are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is confident working with children who can present emotional and behavioural challenges to support in schools and alternative provisions in South Tyneside on a full time basis.

- Have the ability to make boundaries of behaviour clear in a firm and friendly manner, with a robust, professional, yet sensitive attitude
- Able to do outdoor activities with the pupils
- Provide small group nurture support
- Have a calm and empathetic nature with the ability to relate to children that may demonstrate challenging behaviours or have mental health conditions.
- Have a sports or youth work background (beneficial but not essential)
