Assistant Director of Sales - The Marylebone Hotel, London An opportunity to join the sales team at The Marylebone is now available for a passionate and proactive Sales professional who wants to progress their career by joining our team.
After an incredible transformation and being awarded 'Best M&E Hotel in UK and Ireland by Conde Nast Johansen, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team at the Marylebone as Assistant Director of Sales.
You will be passionate about the luxury hotel industry and keep informed on local and global industry trends and best practices. This role will be working closely with the Director of Sales and our team of onsite and global sales and events teams; with a focus on the leisure, corporate and entertainment markets.
Client entertaining, hosting FAM trips and representing The Marylebone at industry events is a key requirement of the role and as such, the ideal candidate will be working in a similar Senior Sales role in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
Key requirements:
Proven performance as a Senior Sales Manager or Assistant Director of Sales in a hotel environment
Understanding of the London luxury hotel market
Strong commercial acumen
Must have proven high level account management, negotiating and presentation skills
Excellent written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders
A love of travel with the flexibility and willingness to travel extensively both nationally and internationally
Proficiency in PMS (Opera or Delphi), Word, Outlook, and Excel and PowerPoint required
