My client is currently going through an exciting growth period and is actively recruiting for a Sales Account Manager. My client was formed in 2003 and has grown to be one of the leading IT Resellers and Technology providers offering hardware and software solutions for education, private and public sector clients nationally. They are accredited partners of all the major technology brands such as Microsoft, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Bitdefender to name a few.

Role and responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager

To carry out direct marketing and sales activities over the telephone with occasional client visits
pro-active approach to achieving sales and securing new business
maintain regular contact with new and existing customers
Maintain and develop the computerised database, keeping accurate records of requirements, usage, contacts, quotations and orders
Achieve / exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales, GP and KPI targets
Optimise selling time on the phone
Increase profit from key accounts and new customers
Maintain a polite and courteous manner when dealing with internal and external customers
Active account base to take on board enabling you to hit the ground runningExperience and Skills needed for Sales Account Manager

1+ year IT Reseller experience selling Hardware, Software and Managed Service Solutions.
Proven track record of increasing profits with key accounts
1+ years account management experience
Self-starter and able to work on own initiative
Solid analytical and negotiation skills
Proven track record of securing new clients / customers
An understanding and proven ability to operate in a technical B2B environment
