Director of Sales - The Bloomsbury Hotel, London An opportunity to join the sales team at The Bloomsbury is now available for a passionate and proactive Sales professional who wants to progress their career by joining our team.
Proud to have been recognised by Cond Nast Traveler as the number 3 hotel in London in 218, we are now recruiting for a Director of Sales to join our onsite Sales team, in time for further renovations in 219.
As Director of Sales, you will be working closely with the Global Sales team and managing the onsite proactive and reactive Sales and Events teams. Driving strategy, delivering results and positioning the Bloomsbury in the luxury hotel market will be just three of the key areas of focus for you. You will be passionate about the luxury hotel industry and keep informed on local and global industry trends and best practices.
Client entertaining, hosting FAM trips and representing The Bloomsbury at industry events is a key requirement of the role and as such, the ideal candidate will be working in a similar proactive Sales role in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
Key requirements:
Proven performance as a Senior Sales Manager or ADOS in a hotel environment
Understanding of the London luxury hotel market
Strong commercial acumen
Proven high level account management, negotiating and presentation skills
Excellent written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders
A love of travel with the flexibility and willingness to travel extensively Proficiency in PMS (Opera or Delphi), Word, Outlook, and Excel and PowerPoint required
