Performing Arts Technician

22.5 hours per week, term-time plus 1 day (38.2 working weeks)
to work flexibly Mon-Fri and some evenings as required.

The salary is within an annual salary range of up to £9,360pa based on a Grade 15, full time equivalent salary range of £18,065 to £18,426 per annum

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, enthusiastic and suitable experienced technician, who will:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to students and teachers within Music and Drama, both in lesson and for extra-curricular activities and productions.
  • Support and assist with the maintenance of music; AV and lighting equipment in Haygrove School. This will include maintenance of music networks and files.
  • Support staff on a practical basis within the Performing Arts Departments (Music and Drama) under the direction of the Heads of Department.
  • Manage resources, hardware, software, loans, consumables and the maintenance of equipment.

Previous technician experience and a good knowledge of music software is desirable but not essential. Post may be ideal for student on a gap year. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work flexibly with a positive attitude and have a commitment and interest in the wellbeing, support and achievement of students.
