Teaching Assistant: Behaviour
(1 year fixed term contract)
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time
Salary £: HBC 2, SCP 3 – 4 £15,054 - £15,355 – T.T Pro rata salary
(Full Time equivalent £18,065 - £18,426)
(HBC 3, SCP 5 – 6 £15,663 - £15,976 – T.T Pro rata salary – this level maybe available for an outstanding candidate) - (Full Time equivalent 18,795 - £19,171)
We are looking for an exceptional, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant for behaviour to support students within our Learning Centre. You should have the ability to adapt your practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages and will contribute to the effective reintegration of students into mainstream classes by supporting the teaching and learning experiences, which enhance the learning and development of young people.
Experience as a Teaching Assistant would be beneficial, but as long as you have the communication and caring skills required for this role, we will provide you with all the training and development required.
The successful candidate will have the relevant experience of working with students who have a wide range of behavioural and educational needs. Have an understanding of effective behaviour strategies and procedures along with the ability to establish and develop successful working relationships with students and staff in our academy.
