An opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Electrician to join our expanding contract based in Reading (Berkshire).
The working hours are 40 hours per week.
Job Purpose:
To provide general electrical installation support on all buildings and plant as part of a multi disciplined team.
Principle Accountabilities:
Carry out electrical installations for both New Works and Breakdowns.
Testing and inspecting electrical installations in accordance with National Inspection Council documentation.
Carrying out refurbishment works arising from breakdown and maintenance inspections.
Responding to Helpdesk reactive maintenance / breakdown calls and carrying out remedial work as necessary.
Providing feedback information to the customer and helpdesk as required.
Working alongside the electrical maintenance team as and when required.
Assume the role of Competent Person (electrical).
Working on both client sites.
Other reasonable duties as agreed with EFS management.
City and Guilds 2361 Parts 1 and 2 or equivalent 17th Edition Test and Inspect or equivalent AM1 / AM2 Practical Tests or equivalent
Practical knowledge of M&E and Building Services maintenance related to the above. Practical knowledge and experience of relevant Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.
Good organisation, customer service and communication skills.
A willingness to carry out overtime.
Team player.
Flexible working attitude to assist where competent with other trades. Clean, full driving license. Ability to interface at all levels of client staff.
The ability to obtain security clearance, currently at DV level.
25 days annual leave
