Controls & Instrumentation Engineer required for a fast growing and successful engineering service company. The company are currently recruiting a number of roles due to growth, given this, progression opportunities are likely to become available for those wanting to advance their career.

To apply for the role, candidates need to hold a technical/engineering degree and have some work experience. The role will appeal to graduates with some experience or more experienced engineers looking for a forward thinking business.

You'll form part of a competent team that are consistently delivering improvements in machine reliability. The successful engineer will be carrying out repair and commissioning work on a variety of rotating equipment systems with particular emphasis on control systems. The role will involve investigating and finding solutions to repair and improve equipment/efficiency.

The role will suit those with good problem solving ability as they'll be trouble shooting with control systems and instrumentation. The role is a mixture of office based work and travelling off shore, trips vary from a couple of days to approximately 2-3 weeks. It's essential all paper work is completed accurately along with any training to the client.

The role:

*Support the business in carrying out on and off shore project delivery

*Hands on repair of rotating equipment and control system components, seeking effective and reliable results to set deadlines

*Travel to customer sites when required, can vary from a couple of days to a few weeks

*Commissioning and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems

*On site customer training

*Inspections and report writing

*40 hours a week Monday to Friday

The Person Required:

*Ideally hold a degree an engineering/technical discipline

*Passionate about engineering and delivering solutions

*Practical hands on experience

*Able to travel at short notice

Advantageous:

*Current offshore certification

*Previous experience working offshore or in a similar role
