Trafford Housing Trust (THT) is an independent housing company providing more than 9,000 quality affordable homes within the Trafford area of Manchester. We are a “profit-for-purpose” organisation, striving for a society transformed, free from poverty, inequality and injustice.

We are now looking to recruit a Joiner who is confident in all aspects of property maintenance. Your Primary trade will be Joiner. You will be required to carry a varied workload across predominately residential stock. The position will also require you to be available to cover the “On Call Emergency Service” on both the joinery plumbing side. This is on a rota basis (Additional Payments for on call)

The role we include the following types of work :-

Refitting full kitchens & bathrooms including tiling.

Renewing doors, upvc windows, all roofline repairs

All other aspects of Joinery

A recognised formal apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is required in Joinery.  We are looking for individuals with demonstrable experience within a similar role, any experience within a housing company would be beneficial but is not essential. You will have a full clean driving license and experience working at height would be an advantage. You will also be flexible to work between the hours of 8am and 8pm.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be capable of working with minimum supervision.
