Collections Executive - Business Finance

Our client is an established, successful Asset Finance lender well known for their customer service within the market. Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to appoint an experienced Collections Executive into their established Collections team. The role will be based from their offices in Blackburn.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Debt Collections in a business finance capacity within a B2B environment. Ideally with experience working within an FCA regulated environment. Although Asset Finance experience is desirable, it is not a necessity.

Responsibilities of the Collections Executive - Business Finance:

The primary activity of the Collections Executive is to deal with failed mandates on all lending portfolios along with live arrears on these books and to issue repossession agents where necessary to uplift assets. You will be required to attend weekly meetings with the Credit and Risk Director to discuss ongoing arrears cases and escalate these issues in an effective and prompt communication to the Collections Manager.

The role will involve both inbound and outbound calls.

Requirements of the Collections Executive - Business Finance:

• Experience in debt collection.
• ARRUDS and ADDACS.
• Knowledge of business finance in some capacity - secured lending ideally. e.g. Property Finance, Invoice Finance, Asset Finance, Business Loans etc.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Confident telephone manner.
• Team player with self-motivation and drive.
