We are urgently recruiting for Cover Supervisors and have a number of opportunities available in schools across the West Midlands specifically Dudley, Sandwell, Wolverhampton and Walsall areas.
The role is mainly to provide cover for absent teachers, manage a classroom ensuring that the students remain on task with the work that has been set. Cover Supervisors play a huge part in the running of the majority of secondary schools and are now requested more and more to provide day to day or even long term cover on a temporary basis.
We also offer a free of charge two day Cover Supervisor training course to help and assist you in this role which is delivered by a fully qualified teacher. Our next training course will run on 4th September.
If your looking to start your career in teaching then this is the role for you!
What you need:
A degree is ideal but not essential, having the right motivators for the role is key. If your looking to gain experience before moving into teaching training then this is a great opportunity.
To be successful you will need energy, patience and a sense of humour!
Previous experience in a school in a similar setting is again ideal but not essential.
Class Solutions focuses exclusively on the Education sector and you will work with professional and knowledgeable consultants who will take the time to listen and understand your requirements. You can work as little or as often as you want in areas that you choose; we simply tailor our service to suit you. Even if you have another part time job you can still work with us as a Cover Supervisor. We work hard on finding you the right role and as much work as possible ensuring you get a rewarding experience adding value to your career.
We pay competitive rates and offer online CPD training for candidates that work for us. All cover supervisors will be subject to the same safeguarding and vetting procedures as fully qualified staff.
If you would like to discuss this role in more detail please contact Louise Williams or email us (along with your CV if possible) and we'll be back in touch
