An opportunity has arisen for a Bid Coordinator to join a nationally renowned Midlands based organisation who specialise in installation and design across a variety of sectors within the mechanical, electrical and maintenance realms. They work on contracts across the country and have been recognised for their excellent company culture and family like environment. They are currently working on some exciting new contracts for both public and private sector clients, and are looking for a Bid Coordinator to join their bids department who will work on domestic projects and work on tenders for local authorities. This client is looking for someone to impart knowledge and insight into their tendering process and implement changes to incorporate more structure into their department. If you would like a job with the freedom to implement change and introduce new procedures then this would be perfect for you.

As a Bid Coordinator your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the bid team and managing the bid submission process
• Managing new bid opportunities and assessing which leads are worth pursuing
• Liaising with all company stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the bid
• Implementing procedures and policies to streamline the bid process
• Monitor the progress of tender with the client and ensure feedback is given on all submissions

To be successful for the role you will need:

• Previous experience managing a bid team, or working as part of a bid team in a Bid Coordinator capacity
• Knowledge of the entire bid process from submission through to completion
• A background working on bids within the construction industry would be ideal
• Sound commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• A highly organised individual with the ability to work independently

In return you will receive:

• A minimum salary of GBP32,000 p.a.
• A permanent contract, situated in Wolverhampton
