Learning Support Team Leader, permanent, full-time
Salary GBP18,136 - GBP20,406 per annum
Who are they looking for?
Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader to manage a team of Learning Support Assistants. You will liaise with internal staff and external agencies regarding learner needs and plan and manage team cover as required. Excellent communication skills, planning and decision making are required.
Involvement in supporting individuals in the Further Education/Higher Education Setting and a high level of disability awareness and safeguarding is essential. Industrial or vocational experience in a variety of sectors is highly desirable. In this role you will need to be flexible and able to demonstrate a sensitive, empathetic and proactive approach in helping individuals overcome personal difficulties.
You will have an adaptable and professional attitude. Patience, enthusiasm, resilience and a good sense of humour are highly desirable attributes for this role. You will hold a level 2 in English and Maths and a qualification in Supporting Learning at Level 2 or above is desirable.
