Faculty / Directorate

The Estates & Facilities Directorate is large and diverse, employing circa 300 people, ranging from plumbers, engineers, carpenters, cleaners, porters, leisure centre assistants, to property management professionals, architects, project officers, CAD, space management, sustainability and energy and administrative personnel,


Based at the Leicester campus you will work 37 hours a week between the hours of 07.00am and 10.00pm Monday - Sunday. You will be part of a team providing an efficient and effective service to teaching and administrative area of the University Campus.

This role includes: Providing an efficient post/courier service, goods in/out service and waste /recycling waste disposal service along with movement of furniture/equipment/materials and setting up of classrooms /exhibitions/ceremonies, within a flexible approach and attitude in providing a high standard of customer service which enhances the day to day working and learning experience of Staff and Students. Experience in a similar environment and good understanding and awareness of Health and Safety requirements, along with a flexible approach to providing this service.
