An opportunity to join a manufacturing business - as Material Controller you will be joining a team of 3 reporting to the materials controller. This is a great opportunity to impress in an expanding business in the Worcester area, where you can develop your purchasing and procurement skills.

Located near Worcester, this manufacturing business has a strong footprint across the UK and Europe. The client has a customer portfolio with some of the worlds most recognisable brands and have built up key relationships over the last 80 years, market share is on the increase and as such this position has now been made available on a temporary basis potentially leading to permanent employment.
Description
Job description for the material controller include but are not limited to:
•Inventory management
•Ensuring orders for components are placed in a timely manner.
•Purchase order accuracy
•Systematic evaluation of MRP demand requirement to determine most efficient order quantity
•Obtaining supplier order acknowledgement
•Expedite components into the business in a timely manner for production build programs/customer required delivery dates
•Robust vendor supply chain management
•MRP data integrity
•Managing and reporting shortages effectively
•Problem solving
Reporting to the materials manager, you will be required to interact with a number of different divisions within the organisation so someone with strong communication skills will be required.
