Technician salary scale 3: £18,795-£19,171 pro-rata to hours and weeks worked

Actual salary from £16,004

37 hours per week, term-time plus 5 training days

We are seeking a reliable and pro-active Technician to support teaching and learning within our Design & Technology faculty. This is a key ‘housekeeping’ role and is central to the smooth running of the faculty.  The successful candidate will interact with pupils on a daily basis, as well as working in support of the teaching staff to ensure that materials and equipment are ready for effective teaching and learning to take place.  An interest in Design & Technology education is essential, along with excellent communication skills, common sense and the ability to work independently.  Previous experience in a catering environment or an interest in food and cooking is desirable.
