A 12 months contract for a HR Business Partner has arisen with the local authorities in Bradford.
The purpose of the job is to provide a comprehensive and professional HR service that supports the Council in achieving its strategic objectives.
Providing specialist expert advice on all aspects of employment and recruitment within the HR remit at all levels across the Council and partnership organisations using best practice; challenging when appropriate.
Ensuring that own professional knowledge is current and up to date to ensure the Council is legal; initiating, researching, developing/updating policies, procedures and imparting knowledge to managers to support this through appropriate training initiatives.
Support Service Area change management activities, including reorganisations and workforce remodelling, to align outcomes with the needs of the services, strategic objectives, legal and procedural obligations.

Skiils and Experience:
Post graduate Diploma in Personnel Management - Graduate CIPD (or working towards final year of completion).
Ability to demonstrate substantial experience of working within a professional HR role, which is likely to have been gained with five years or more experience.
Experience of writing HR policies and procedures.
Experience of supporting organisational change programmes within an HR role.
Experience of working with a broad range of employee relations related issues and recruitment and selection methods and techniques.Hours of work are 8.45am till 5.15pm, Monday to Friday.
