Live Content Journalist (Yorkshire)
Are you a journalist who thrives on breaking news? Do you have an eye for a video, the knowhow to edit and publish that video on the fly - be it using the likes of iMovie, MovieMaker and/or Adobe Premiere Clip - and the ability to produce a wide-variety of copy, accurate and compelling in equal measure?
Do you relish seeing the analytics board light up as our readers devour your work? Can you instinctively optimise your work for search and social? Are you keen to join an award-winning team to help take one of JPIMedia's flagship multi-media centres to the next level online and across social?
Well, we are looking for someone with a bit of fire in their belly to add to our coverage of Leeds. You will spend most of your time out amongst it, self-starting in and around one of the most progressive cities in the world. We expect you to publish a constant stream of content; from the bizarre to the worthy, and everything in between.
In return you will receive top-quality training and development such that you will become the best that you can be in the profession.
