Phaidon International is an award-winning global Recruitment business, and we're looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance team here in Central London.

The chosen candidate will act as an ambassador for the business and be tasked with delivering a fees recovery performance against monthly set targets and supporting the established credit controller to build the credit control function in the London office.

Duties of a Credit Controller:

• Contacting clients via phone and email to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner and all overdue debt is resolved

• Send out bi-weekly reports to the UK divisional directors

• Meeting cash collection, client calling and debtor day targets

• Maintaining records of chasing activity

• Keeping in regular contact with fee earning staff in our UK office to ensure all debt is managed as necessary and appropriate actions are taken

• Negotiating to bring in payment from clients within the agreed terms of business.

• Monthly debtors meeting with Credit Manager and CFO

What do you need to apply for the Credit Controller role?

• Previous experience of working in a debt collection or credit control position

• Experience of working in a client facing capacity

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; including Microsoft Excel

• Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, telesales environment

• Team player

• Experience of working in a target driven and KPI environment.

• Base salary of up to GBP25,000

• 15% Bonus (based on individual and team performance)
