Do you want to make the move from industry into a practice?

You'll be part of a team of 6, focusing on providing an outsourced accountancy service to small companies and individuals. Your portfolio of clients will focus on the property industry and you'll be doing all the bookkeeping for those clients, as well as being the point of contact for any ad hoc queries or requests and handling year-end and Companies House submissions. In effect, you'll be like an extension of their company acting as a Finance Manager for each client - whether they're a residential landlord with one property, or a commercial property management business. Should the client have queries relating to other departments in the firm like payroll, they'll come through you.

This company are very open to whatever your accounts background is: you might have come from an industry background or an accountancy practice, and they'll even consider candidates who are qualified by experience, rather than having a formal ACA or CIMA qualification. The only must-have for experienced accounts professionals is exposure to a cloud accounting package like Xero or Sage.

The team you'll be joining has tripled in size from just 2 people in the last three years, and growing this department is a real priority so there are plenty of development opportunities for staff - the company has a dedicated training budget to provide study support that you can access. The car park closes at 6pm every day so you'll never be expected to work late, but much of a company are regulars in the pub down the road as the office is so near to the tram stop!
