Are you looking to kick start your career in IT? Are you enthusiastic and committed? If so, our client have a fantastic apprenticeship opportunity within their friendly IT department.

They are looking for an IT Apprentice to support their customers to effectively use technology and optimise performance, whilst undertaking a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician qualification.

Their IT team are currently in the middle of an exciting transformation programme to modernise the IT infrastructure and systems. This is a really rewarding time for an apprentice to join them and have the opportunity to play a part in implementing new technologies.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Supporting colleagues with IT problems
  • Configuring laptops and mobile phones
  • Learning to support their infrastructure
  • Helping to introduce new processes
  • Helping to transition projects into live support

As part of this role you will need to be flexible as you may be required to work unsociable hours, where necessary, to provide support for system upgrades.

At the end of your apprenticeship you will hold an industry recognised Infrastructure technician NVQ Level 3 qualification which will be supported by two years practical work experience.

You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and achievement of a grade 4 or equivalent in Maths and English (Level 2 / GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent) are also required.
